Biras Creek Resort - North Sound
Featuring panoramic views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the North Sound,
Biras Creek Resort welcomes guests to the award winning Hilltop Restaurant -
renowned for its exquisite international cuisine. To compliment your dining
experience, Biras Creek offers one of the most extensive international wine lists
in the British Virgin Islands.
Fat Virgin Cafe - North Sound
This casual waterside café is located at the Biras Creek Resort dock, on the
southeast side of the North Sound. Start your day with an early cup of coffee
and light continental breakfast. Lunch and dinner are simple but delicious –
sandwiches made to order, homemade soups, and the famous outdoor-grilled
Burger in Paradise.
Bitter End Yacht Club - North Sound
Known for its elegant, yet casual open air dining, Bitter End Yacht Club offers a variety of dining options including a generous buffet and table service in the Clubhouse Steak and Seafood Grille to pizza and a full bar at The Crawl Pub. In addition, you can stock up on your fresh made breads, pastries and muffins from the bakery.
The Restaurant and Bar at Saba Rock - North Sound
The Restaurant & Bar at Saba Rock features a relaxed waterfront setting with a
magnificent view of the North Sound. You will be dining literally above the
water while listening to the sounds of gentle lapping waves beneath your feet.
Keep your eyes open for sting rays & turtles popping out by your table as you
dine! At the Saba Rock restaurant, their goal is to provide fresh, flavorful food at
a great value. The menu is the perfect blend of traditional favorites with a
Caribbean twist – there is something to satisfy every palate. They also offer a
special kid's menu for all the little pirates aboard your ship!
Restaurant at Leverick Bay & Jumbies Beach Bar - Virgin Gorda
The beach bar remains open as long as there are guests to keep up lively
conversation. There are daily specials and Happy Hour. Reservations are
recommended. Casual attire. Moderately priced. Choose from many mouth
watering dishes, from local lobster and seafood to steaks, appetizers, salads and
much more.
Giorgio’s Table (authentic Italian restaurant with chefs from Italy) - Mahoe Bay
This is the only authentic Italian restaurant on the island, with chefs flown in for
the season from Venice, Milan, and Florence. Lying a 15-minute drive north of
Spanish Town, the restaurant opens onto a big covered terrace. We like to sit
out here at night, with the sounds of the surf nearby. The varnished interior of
the restaurant evokes a yacht. The chef says he cooks Italian instead of
"American Italian," and the food is good, despite its reliance on a lot of
imported ingredients. Fresh locally caught fish is generally the best bet. You can
also order an array of succulent pastas and such standard Italian staples as veal
scaloppine. Pizzas and sandwiches will fill you at lunch. (Frommers)
Top of the Baths - Virgin Gorda
The chefs at this popular restaurant bring together the best ingredients to satisfy
the most discriminating palates, allowing each ingredient to speak for itself
while harmonizing with others. The restaurant grows its own herbs and
vegetables and offers only the freshest seafood from local waters and beyond.
From locally raised ducks to a robust selection of European spices and cheese,
wines and prime meats, everything is done right in this kitchen.
The Rock Café and Sam’s Piano Bar - The Valley
This is not some island clone of the ubiquitous Hard Rock Café. The restaurant
gets its name from its location amid boulders like that ones at the Baths.
Recessed lighting and boardwalks add theatrical allure at night. Fortunately, the
chefs don’t solely depend on the setting to impress patrons. The menu is wisely
balanced, and the dishes are well prepared. Freshly caught red snapper comes
in a tangy marinade, and we are especially fond of the chicken piccata. An
affordable wine list contains vintages that hail from a variety of locations, from
Italy to California. Live entertainment, usually a local band, is a nightly feature.
The Sugar Mill at Little Dix
The Sugar Mill has been recently redesigned with stonework and rich wood
textures. Tables are arranged to allow panoramic views of the sea and verdant
island environs. The Sugar Mill offers an eclectic fusion of contemporary
Pan-Asian and European cuisines and a unique Amusaries Menu featuring
tastes of our chef’s best creations. The menu includes Miso glazed grouper,
five-spiced pork belly, Mediterranean sea bass with Soba noodles and
Himalayan truffles.
